The 2011 National Champion of College Football will be determined right here in Glendale, Arizona. This will mark the second time that the National Champion under the BCS system's stand-alone game will be played in Arizona. The last BCS Championship Game was in Phoenix (specifically, Glendale) in 2007. After the four BCS bowl games are over--the Rose Bowl, The Fiesta Bowl, The Sugar Bowl and The Orange Bowl--the BCS Championship game will be played.

Who gets to play? It has nothing to do with which teams win the bowl games. The NCAA football teams that will meet in the BCS championship game are be the top two-ranked teams in the BCS standings, announced in early December 2010.

How do I get tickets to the BCS National Championship Game?

There are no tickets that will go on sale to the general public. You either have to be a season ticket holder for the Fiesta Bowl, know someone from one of the two teams that will play that will sell you a ticket, or have access to corporate sponsorship tickets. Even though local tickets are not available, you'll be able to buy tickets (at a premium, of course) through a ticket broker like TicketsNow.com (Buy Direct). Another option is to buy tickets from scalpers or other online ticket exchanges -- but beware of tickets from unauthorized ticket sellers!
