On the 4th of July -- or any patriotic American holiday -- this special recipe for The Patriot from Stone Rose Lounge at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess will make a refreshing treat for the adults at your gathering.
Yield: One cocktail
Ingredients:
- ½ oz of Malibu Rum
- ¾ oz blue Curacao
- Splash of pineapple juice
- ½ oz Bacardi Coco
- 1 oz of Pina Colada mix
- ½ oz of Bacardi Superior
- 1 oz Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
Preparation:
1. Blend Malibu Rum, blue Curacao and pineapple juice.
2. In a separate blender, blend Bacardi Coco, Pina Colada mix.
3. In a separate blender, blend Bacardi Superior, Strawberry Daiquiri Mix.
4. Build in glass: pour the strawberry mix first, then the Pina colada mix and top it off with the blue mixture.
