Teens and Parents in Queen Creek Should Know the Law

Teenagers in the Town of Queen Creek, Arizona should know that there are town ordinances that define what hours a minor may be outside within the Town of Queen Creek boundaries without adult supervision. Parents of teenagers who violate the Queen Creek curfew law may be held responsible.

The Queen Creek Town Code, Chapter 9, Section 9-1-5, covers curfews in Queen Creek.

  • Minors under 16: may not be outside unsupervised between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the next morning.
  • Minors 16 to 18: may not be outside unsupervised between midnight and 5 a.m. the next morning.
Certain exceptions apply. See the Queen Creek Town Code for those exceptions. Curfew violations are misdemeanors and a fine may be imposed. Other cities within the greater Phoenix area may also have curfews, and they may be different from the restrictions in Queen Creek, Arizona.
