Phoenix School of Law

Phoenix School of Law offers a full-time program, part-time day program and part-time evening program. All programs have the same entrance criteria.

Argosy University

Argosy University offers professional certificates, programs, and doctoral, master’s, and bachelor’s degrees in the College of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences, College of Education, College of Business, College of Health Sciences, and College of Undergraduate Studies.

American Indian College

Phoenix. Offering degrees in Christian Ministry, Elementary Education and Business Administration.

Arizona State University

State university located in Tempe, Arizona (home of the Fiesta Bowl!)

Chandler-Gilbert Community College

Part of the Maricopa Community College District. Locations in Chandler, Mesa and Sun Lakes. In addition to general education, there are programs in aviation, semiconductor manufacturing, and virtual reality.

College America

Two programs with classes being held during the day and in the evening. College degrees in both the Medical Specialty and the Computer Technology Programs are nationally accredited.

Estrella Mountain Community College

Located in Avondale in Western Maricopa County. Part of the Maricopa Community Colleges system. Offers a Transfer Partnership Associate of Arts degree in cooperation with ASU in the areas of Business, Elementary Education, Psychology and Social Work. Also offers certificates of completion in seven occupational programs.

Gateway Community College

Located east of downtown Phoenix. Part of the Maricopa Community Colleges system. Offers six academic divisions including Business and Information Technologies, Health Sciences, Industrial Technology, Liberal Arts, Math and Sciences, and Nursing.

Glendale Community College

Located in Glendale. The second-largest college in the Maricopa Community College District. The 160-acre GCC campus now services more than 19,000 students who earn Associate degrees, credits for college and university transfers, occupational certificates, and other continuing education.

Grand Canyon University

A liberal arts program with a Christian perspective.

Mesa Community College

Seven locations in the East Valley. Part of the Maricopa Community College District. Offers day, evening, weekend, short-term, and Internet-based classes for university transfer and occupational training.

Paradise Valley Community College

Service area encompasses northeast Phoenix, northern Scottsdale, the towns of Paradise Valley, Carefree, and Cave Creek. Part of the Maricopa Community College District. 

Phoenix College

Locations in Mesa, Luke AFB, Paradise Valley, Tempe and Surprise. Part of the Maricopa Community College District. Recognized nationally for its programs in gerontology, dental hygiene, fire science, emergency medical technology, mathematics, art, graphic design, creative writing, and administration of justice.

Phoenix Institute of Technology

Rio Salado College

Seven locations in the East Valley. Part of the Maricopa Community College District. Provides active, working adults with flexible educational opportunities, including an extensive distance learning program.

Part of the Maricopa Community College District. Two year degree programs in many disciplines as well as university transfer programs and special interest courses.

South Mountain Community College

Located in South Phoenix. Part of the Maricopa Community College District. Standard general degrees and programs, along with some unique ones, like Equine Science and Mind/Body Natural Health Studies.

Thunderbird School of Global Management

Formerly known as the American Graduate School of International Management. Located in Glendale, Arizona this graduate school is world famous for the international business management program.

University of Phoenix

Claims to be the largest accredited university for working adults. Several campuses are located around the Phoenix metro area.

Western International University

With classes evenings and weekends, this private university caters to working adults. Has an extensive ESL program as well as general degrees and various certification programs.
