Picking your own pumpkins for Halloween decorations and cooking is an October tradition just about everywhere in the United States. Arizona is no different, and there are several places you can go to enjoy picking your pumpkins from a pumpkin patch.

Fireworks each night. Some rides and features have additional charges. $14, 2 years old and under free, seniors 1/2 price on Thursdays,

Brookes Pumpkin Patch at Mother Natures Farm

They stock fresh pumpkins from 1 pound to 500 pounds! The farm entrance fee is $7 per child, this includes an OZ pumpkin, decorating the pumpkin, the air bounce and hayride, straw bounce, feeding the animals and Alexanders Adventure Maze. Adults are $3.00 to tag along and ride the hayride. Bring a picnic lunch. Pumpkin weigh-off: October 6. The Phoenix Herpetological Society: October 13, 14.

Pumpkins for sale. Pumpkins are grown at various local farms and are brought here to set up a pumpkin patch. Take I-17 and take the 19th Ave/Durango St. exit. Follow the curve around, after the first light. It is the big field on the right side.
