At this time I do not maintain a regular calendar at About.com Phoenix, only a monthly listing of annually recurring events and festivals. Here is what the January calendar looks like.
There are some events that may be annually recurring but are still not included in my calendar, such as:
- seminars
- church functions
- garage sales
- black tie balls
- dinner fundraisers
- silent auctions
- book club meetings
- restaurant specials
- golf tournaments
- most walks, runs, hikes
Calendar events that are not annually recurring may also be submitted. I include those in a blog special. If you know about an event that's open to the public that you'd like me to consider for my weekly column, complete this form at least 8 days prior to the event and include the following information:
If your event is not a recurring event, isn't free, or doesn't qualify for my calendar because it is one of the types of events mentioned above, keep in mind that you may post any public event or activity one time in the About.com Phoenix Forum, in the "Local Events and News" folder. You have to sign up to post, but it is easy to do.
