Wet 'n' Wild is a water park and amusement park in northwest Phoenix, Arizona. It opened for the first time on July 1, 2009. Located on the site of what used to be known as WaterWorld Safari Wet 'n' Wild owners negotiated with Maricopa County for the new water park. Here are some photos from opening day.
When will Wet 'n' Wild open?
Wet 'n' Wild will be open March 21 - 24 and March 28 - 31 in 2013 for Spring Break, and weekends from then on from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May 19, 2013, after which they start extending the schedule and hours. In mid-August they will go back to reducing their days of operation to weekends until mid-September. The 2013 season at Wet 'n' Wild in Phoenix will end on September 8. Adult (and over 42 inches tall) Admission: $38.99
Child Admission (Under 42 inches): $29.99
Senior Admission (65+): $29.99
Children ages 2 and younger: free
Twilight admission: On any public operating day when the Park is open until 10 p.m. admission is $19.99 after 5 p.m.
Prices do not include tax, parking, food, merchandise, lockers, tubes, games or special concerts. Tickets are not date specific. You can use them on any one single day during the 2012 season.
Season passes for admission are available. A season pass that includes parking and free tube rentals is also offered.
Are there any single ticket discounts available?
Purchasing tickets online may be cheaper than at the gate. Discounted admission tickets are available to military personnel through military ITT offices including Luke Air Force Base. These discounts are NOT available at the gate.Special Events at Wet 'n' Wild
Wet 'n' Wild occasionally features special events that are included with your paid admission:- Bring-A-Friend Day. On select days Season Pass Holders have an opportunity to bring one guest for a reduced price. Those dates in 2013 are: April 26, 27, 28, May 11, 12, June 15, 16, 24, 25, July 23, 24, 28 and August 24, 25.

What else should I know about Wet 'n' Wild?
Wet 'n' Wild is operated by Village Roadshow, an Australian company with operations in several countries including the U.S. Theme parks and film production/distribution are some of its core businesses. This water park cost $30 million dollars to build and is the largest in Arizona. It boasts 30 water slides and attractions. Maximum Velocity is the "world’s first, gravity-defying, dueling Master Blaster water coaster."
No outside food or beverages are allowed. Guests may exit the Wet 'n' Wild gates and re-enter with appropriate ticket stub.
Wet 'n' Wild can get pretty busy, and when they reach capacity, they will close the water park. They may also be closed at times for private events. Check the park's website or call 623-201-2000 for updates relative to park capacity or changes in operating hours/schedules.
