Enchanted Island Amusement Park has been in operation since 1991, and the Encanto Carousel has a prominent central location at the amusement park; it is, appropriately, the center of attention!

The carousel at Enchanted Island is the oldest continuously-operating carousel in Arizona. In 1998, in celebration of the carousel's 50th birthday, it was donated to the City of Phoenix as a permanent fixture at Encanto Park.

Like all the other rides at Enchanted Island, you can pay as you go, so if you are in the area, you can simply purchase individual tickets for a very reasonably priced ride or two on the carousel.
