The original C. P. Huntington was built for the Central Pacific Railroad and used in the construction of the transcontinental railroad. Southern Pacific donated the engine to the State of California in 1964. It is now housed in the California State Railroad Museum.

Here in Phoenix, children and adults can ride a 1/3 replica of the C.P. Huntington Train. It takes less than 10 minutes to take the leisurely ride around Encanto Park. Don't forget that because there's no general admission charge to get into Enchanted Island, you can just stop by now and then, buy individual tickets, and take the train ride.
