- After the early hours the traffic coming into Carefree on festivals days can be a challenge. You'll get there. Enjoy the ride. Be patient.
- There are several entrances to the event, so you can park at various free lots and side streets around the festival.
- There are several booths offering wine tasting. You can purchase your wine glass at any of the entrances or at the food/entertainment area. You may keep the souvenir glass. They are attractive!
- This festival is aptly named. Although some of the artisans offer items that almost anyone can afford, this festival has many vendors offering higher priced works of art. If you have a few thousand dollars to spend today, you'll have no problem finding a sculpture, painting, bronze, or other work of art.
- There's a stage with live musical entertainment where you can rest. After a little music and refreshment, get back out there and walk the festival again!
- This is not a child-oriented event. There are no bouncy places, face painters or petting zoos.
- The festival takes place on the streets of downtown Carefree, so the walking areas are generally flat. Strollers and wheelchairs are no problem.
- Some food is available for purchase, but food booths are not a focus here.
- There are many choices for casual dining within the festival boundaries and nearby. You may leave and re-enter the festival if you get your hand stamped.
- Don't worry if you are aren't an art collector. Browsers who just appreciate seeing art on a beautiful day in a lovely town will enjoy themselves here.
