The Fantasy of Lights Parade on the streets of Downtown Tempe takes place on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 6 p.m.What will happen??
The event opens with the lighting of hundreds of thousands of festive holiday lights along Mill Avenue. Opening Night proceeds with the APS Fantasy of Lights Parade, the official community tree lighting ceremony, street entertainers and the arrival of Santa Claus. The parade route starts at Third Street and Mill Avenue and ends at Fifth Street and Maple. The holiday tree is lit in front of MADCAP Theaters at Sixth Street west of Mill. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to take photos of their kids with Santa.
How much will it cost to get in?
Nothing! Admission to the Tempe Festival of Lights is free.

You'll find the most convenient parking at:
- Hayden Ferry Lakeside Parking Garage – Rio Salado, just east of Mill Avenue
- Hayden Square Garage - 3rd Street between Ash Street & Mill Avenue; located under Hayden Square Condominiums
- City Hall Garage - 5th Street between Mill Avenue and Myrtle
- Centerpoint Surface Lot -5th Street between Ash and Maple

The lights along Mill Avenue will be on each evening through January 1, 2013. Don't forget that the Tempe Fall Festival of the Arts will take over the streets of downtown Tempe on November 30 - December 2, 2012. What a great place to do your holiday shopping! Watch the video!
