The event begins with brief presentations and musical entertainment. American Idol Winner Phillip Phillips and Roshon Fegan will perform. At 7 p.m., Phoenix Councilwoman Thelda Williams and Santa Claus will light the Christmas tree as snow falls. The lighting will be followed by a performance from Phoenix-based Angelique White Band. Every 15 minutes from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m., Santa will announce prize giveaways (winners must be present).How do I get there?

Outlets at Anthem boasts that it has the tallest freshly-cut Christmas tree in the nation. It is 110 feet tall, 27 feet wide and weighs 16 tons when fully decorated with 180 strands of LED lights stretching three miles and more than 6,000 ornaments, bows and a three-foot-tall copper star at the top.Outlets at Anthem will be presenting a 4-pack, 6-pack and 8-pack of VIP Meet and Greets with Phillips to the highest bidders. All proceeds will go to the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. People can bid on the packages at The Outlets at Anthem online.
