In the northwest part of the Valley of the Sun, the Town of Surprise hosts the annual Surprise Party Holiday Festival to welcome the winter holiday season. In 2010 the celebration will be even bigger and better, as Surprise combines the holiday event with their 50th anniversary party.

What is the schedule of events at the Surprise Party?
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: Balloon Glow, visits with SantaFriday: Balloon Glow, skydivers, tree lighting ceremony, carolers, entertainment, fireworks
Saturday: Elephant and camel rides, pony rides, petting zoo, carnival, arts and crafts show, classic car show, live entertainment.
How much will it cost to get in?
Admission is $5 or new unwrapped toy, children’s clothing item or canned food item. Donations will benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance Tim and Will’s Kid’s FUN-dation, the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center and Operation Homefront of Arizona. Parking is free.
