In the northwest part of the Valley of the Sun, the Town of Surprise hosts the annual Surprise Party Holiday Festival to welcome the winter holiday season. In 2010 the celebration will be even bigger and better, as Surprise combines the holiday event with their 50th anniversary party.
Where is the Surprise Party Holiday Festival?Surprise Recreation Campus is located south of Bell Road on Bullard Avenue, one mile west of Litchfield Road. Here is a map.

Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Friday, November 30, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What is the schedule of events?Wednesday and Thursday: Santa’s Workshop
Friday: Hot Air Balloon Glow, Arizona Skyhawks Skydivers, a traditional tree lighting ceremony, live entertainment and fireworks.
Saturday: Arts and Crafts Festival, Classic Car Show, interactive games, elephant, camel and pony rides, petting zoo, clowns, face painters, party hats, merry go round, Gingerbread House Contest. Live stage entertainment featuring The Chadwicks.
How much will it cost to get in?Free admission with the donation of packaged food, new unwrapped toy or children’s clothing item for Sanderson Ford and Sanderson Lincoln’s “Operation Santa Claus”. Donations will benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center and Military Assistance Mission Arizona. Parking is free. Some activities have a charge.
