The annual Mesa Temple Garden Christmas Lights display conveys peace and goodwill of the season with a unique and spectacular exhibit of hundreds of thousands of lights that serve as a backdrop for the sounds of the holidays. This 29th year of the display is entitled Celebrate the Life of Christ in Lights and Music.

When is Mesa Arizona Temple Gardens Christmas Lights and Concert Series?
Friday, November 28, 2008. The festivities will begin at 7 p.m. The gardens will be lit from 5:30 until 10 p.m. each subsequent night through January 1, 2009.What happens?
The event attracts about one million visitors every year, and features hundreds of thousands of colorful lights, a large nativity display, and holiday dioramas that blanket the garden area of the Mesa Arizona Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. Eight hundred volunteers will donate more than 10,000 hours of labor throughout the holiday season to create and maintain the display.This year the official lighting ceremony features American Idol Top Five finalist, Brooke White.
The Mesa Arizona Temple Gardens Christmas Lights and Concert Series features free half-hour concerts, featuring a variety of groups and musical styles, presented at 7 p.m. each evening through December 21, 2008.
The Visitors' Center, located adjacent to the Temple, offers free tours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day during the Christmas lights display.
All faiths are welcome to visit.
