Update: The Borgata closed in 2013. It is intended to be developed as residential homes. Blanco Tacos is till there!
Number of stores at The Borgata:
The Borgata features about 40 unique shops and eateries.
Anchor or main stores at The Borgata:
There are no large department stores at The Borgata.
My favorite stores at The Borgata:
Chico's, Saddlebags, Lollipops Paris, Dolce Salon & Spa.
Restaurants at The Borgata:
Blanco Tacos + Tequila (read my review), J. Alexander’s, Pomo Pizzeria Napoletana and SLo Foods Organic Café.
The Borgata is designed to feel like the Tuscan Village of San Gimignano complete with cobblestone walkways, fountains and an open-air setting. The shops are upscale/expensive.
This is not a mall that will be interesting to kids or teens. No movies, no food court, no games, no play areas.
The Borgata location:
The Borgata is located in Scottsdale, Arizona on Scottsdale Road between Lincoln & McDonald Drives.
Points of interest nearby:
A large, upscale, more traditional mall, Scottsdale Fashion Square, is nearby. Downtown Scottsdale shops, art galleries, and the Scottsdale Center for the Arts are a few miles south.
What it looks like:
