Mesa Riverview is a 250-acre entertainment and shopping destination located at Dobson Road and the Loop 202. With its blend of big-box and mom-and-pop retailers and restaurants, Mesa Riverview offers
something for everyone.
Mesa Riverview includes 1.3 million square feet of retail. As of this writing (March 2008), it is still in growth mode, with about 50 businesses open, and more opening all the time.

Arizona's only Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World is at Mesa Riverview as is the Valley's
first Cinemark Movie Theatre. Home Depot, Wal-Mart Supercenter, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Bed Bath and Beyond, Sally Beauty, Fashion Bug, Catherine's and other chain retailers are located at Riverview, as is an eclectic
selection of specialty shops like wine and cigar shops, located in the Theater District (Mesa Riverview's "Main Street" area).
My favorite stores at Mesa Riverview:
Bass Pro Shops has to be my favorite, but you can also find me at Jo-Ann Fabrics (they have more than just fabrics) and Bed Bath and Beyond. Plus-size women who are tired of trying to find clothing that fits at big box or department stores will like Catherine's. Since you can never find chaps when you need them, now you know where to find a Sheplers Western Wear!
Restaurants at Mesa Riverview:
There are more than 20 restaurants at Mesa Riverview. At the higher end, Islamorada Fish Company at Bass Pro Shops is a unique Arizona seafood establishment. Read my review of Islamorada Fish Company. At Mesa Riverview you'll also find Famous Dave's Barbecue, Logan's Roadhouse, Mexican food, sandwiches, and fast food in several varieties.
Worth mentioning:
Mesa Riverview has special events from time to time, including the 4th Friday ArtWalk. Also, keep tuned into the news for announcements about a teen entertainment area that is in the plans.
Mesa Riverview is not a mall in the sense that it is not indoors. It covers a large area, so when it is hot outside, you might be moving your car to minimize the walking from store to store.
