In Scottsdale, at the Scottsdale Quarter. Definitely an upscale experience, come early for some adult beverages in the Salt Lounge or stay late for dinner at Tanzy. Or, you can just see the movie. There are different classes of seats. Gold Class is the most comfortable with truly reclining seats and food and beverage service. Find this movie theater on a map.
In Central Phoenix, at The Esplanade on Camelback. Yes, you can come to the AMC Esplanade Dine-In Theatre to just see a movie in a comfortable seat, but you can also order restaurant-style food and drinks, including alcoholic beverages, and be served in the theater. I found food prices here higher than at other theaters. Find this movie theater on a map.
In North Scottsdale. Studio Movie Grill is more down to earth than some of the other dinner-and-a-movie theaters in town. So are the prices. Both reserved and non-reserved seating is offered here. Seats do not recline, but they have a larger menu than most movie theaters. Find this movie theater on a map.
Scottsdale, at the Scottsdale Pavilions on Indian Bend. This theater offers different movie experiences in different theaters depending on age, types of seating desired. Star Class has smaller theaters, larger seats, food and beverage, and no kids. Find this movie theater on a map.
In Maricopa (south of Phoenix, Tempe and Chandler) the Ak-Chin Community built a mega entertainment complex, complete with UltraStar movie theaters. Two of those movie theaters offer the StarClass experience, with food and beverage service available at your seat. 21+ only. Read more about the Multi-tainment Center.
