Looking for a nice meal on New Year's Eve in the Phoenix area? Besides concerts, shows and New Year's Eve parties, you'll also find some wonderful New Year's Eve dinners at fine restaurants around town. Many of these are prix-fixe special menus for the New Year's Eve celebration. Some include champagne toasts, party favors, dancing and entertainment. Please remember that the prices mentioned here don't include tax, tip, or drinks. You can assume that coupons and discounts will not be honored for special holiday meals. Many of these restaurants require payment in advance. Call to see if there's a dress code.

NYE 2013: $32.95 per person
New Year's Eve buffet beginning at 5 p.m. includes a glass of house Champagne or wine. Soup, salads, carving station with prime rib, several entrees and desserts. 20% gratuity and tax will be added.
NYE 2013: $75 per person
A special four-course New Year’s Eve Menu, along with the a la carte menu. 1st Course: Cauliflower Soup, Sevruga Caviar and Basil Oil. 2nd Course: Caprese di Pomodoro, Heirloom Tomatoes, Preserved Lemon, Herbs, Fresh Burrata, Extra Virgin Olive Oil. 3rd Course: Braised Short Ribs, Parmesan Mashed Potatoes, Borolo Sauce. Dessert: Ricotta Timbale, Vanilla Bomboloni, Chocolate Custard. Usher in the New Year with a Venetian gondola cruising the resort’s waterways. Rides are complimentary for those dining at Alto. The Center Stage Bar features live entertainment from 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and a midnight balloon drop with fun party favors. Entertainment: The Waters (Edgy Folk); Brian Chartrand (Solo Acoustic); Myles David Lancette (Acoustic Soul). The resort is offering a special rate for December 31st.

A five-course prix fixe menu. Appetizer (Served Family Style): Lobster, Crabmeat and Shrimp. Salads:Fresh Mozzarella & Beefsteak or Mixed Green Salad. Entrée choices: Porterhouse Steak for Two, Three or Four, New York Sirloin Steak, Rib Eye Steak, Filet Mignon, Lamb Chops, Grilled Norwegian Wild Salmon, Chicken Parmigiana or Chicken Francese, Pasta with Seafood, or Pasta Bolognese. Potato & Vegetable (Served Family Style). Dessert platters are per table and may include any of the following: Apple Strudel, Carrot Cake, Cheesecake, Chocolate Mousse. Seatings at 5, 7, and 9 p.m. First and second seatings are six-sourse tasting menu. Third seating is a seven-course tasting menu.
NYE 2013: First (5 p.m.) and second (7 p.m.) seatings: a six-course tasting menu, $79 per person, wine pairings an additional $26, sommeliers wine pairing $52. The third (9 p.m.) seating: a seven course tasting menu, $95 per person, wine accompaniments $32, sommeliers wine pairing $64.
Both menus offer a variety of savory dishes to round out the year. Start the night with Tuna Carpacci, served with Fresno Chile, edamame, peanut, lime cilantro and umami mayo. End the evening with a Chocolate Torte, served with Fabbri Cherries, cookie crumbs, and Vanilla crème fraiche.
