Chocolate Covered Scorpion

I Ate a Chocolate Covered Scorpion at the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix

The Arizona State Fair is an annual event held each fall in central Phoenix at the Arizona State Fairgrounds.
Arizona State Chocolate Covered Scorpion

Scorpions are always a hot topic on Arizona, since one of the most venomous scorpions in the U.S. is found all over the Phoenix area. Not to worry - the stinger on this one has been removed, but the vendor tells me that under the chocolate, that is a dead, raw scorpion. It hasn't been cooked, but it has been kept in alcohol, which I assume kills any germs. I hope. I ate it.
