What does BOB stand for? BOB is the acronym for Bank One Ballpark. It has since been renamed Chase Field. You say BOB just like the name "Bob." BOB was the home of the 2001 World Series Champion Arizona Diamondbacks. Chase Field, formerly BOB, is a fantastic place to watch a ball game.
