Guide Review - Grand Canyon - Moon Handbooks
This Moon handbook may be the only Guide Book you need to the Grand Canyon. The basics are here: how to get to the Grand Canyon, where to stay, what weather you can expect, etc. This guide book goes beyond. It includes history and geography of the area, with interesting insets of related information. There's an entire chapter on Colorado River running, the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area which includes Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam, and Rainbow Bridge National Monument. Chapters on Northeastern Arizona, Northwestern Arizona and the Flagstaff area make this a great reference book for people who can make several trips to Arizona's beautiful north country.
