Artichoke Garlic Bread Recipe

Artichoke Garlic Bread can be used as an appetizer or a side dish to any meal, formal or informal. It is easy to make, and tasty to eat!

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf french bread
  • 1 brick jack cheese
  • 12 oz. artichoke hearts
  • 16 oz. sour cream
  • garlic (to taste)
  • parmesan cheese
  • a cube of butter

Preparation:

Drain and cut the artichoke hearts. Cut the jack cheese into small cubes. Mix the hearts, jack cheese and sour cream in a large bowl. Slice the loaf of french bread down the middle and take out the inside part. In a large skillet, heat the butter and garlic, then add the extracted bread and brown. Mix the bread in with the sour cream mixture and scoop into the french bread halves. Top with parmesan (or romano) cheese and bake for 20 to 30 minutes.

What the HECK is a cube of butter??? Some say it is 1/4 stick and others say it is a whole stick. Which is it?????
