This holiday Egg Nog recipe was provided by Lon's at The Hermosa Inn
. Lon's is an elegant, award winning restaurant in Paradise Valley, Arizona. All the ingredients are easily found at any of our local grocery stores.
- 12 egg yolks
- 8 ounces sugar
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 liter cream
- 1 liter milk
- 12 egg whites
Whip up egg yolks, sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon until light and fluffy. Add milk and cream, fold in until smooth. Whip up egg whites to soft peaks; fold into the egg yolk mixture until smooth. Refrigerate for two hours until chilled. Makes 16 servings (4 oz. size).
