Hot Five Bean Dish Recipe

From G. D. Thurman, for About.com

Here's a recipe for a Hot Five Bean Dish. The Hot Five Bean Dish Recipe makes a great appetizer or side dish, but you can also enjoy it as your main dish with a salad on the side.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 8 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 1 16 oz. can pork and beans
  • 1 16 oz. can kidney beans (drained)
  • 1 16 oz. can lima beans (drained)
  • 1 16 oz. can yellow (wax) beans (drained)
  • 1 16 oz. can green beans (drained)
  • 2 Tbs. prepared mustard
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 12 oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder

Preparation:

Mix all together in a crock pot and then cook all day on low. (Does it get any easier than that?)
