A nice meal is always a welcome activity for a special occasion or a date, whether you've been together for a month or 30 years. Here are 15 restaurants around town where you can enjoy fine dining for dinner. Even better, these restaurants offer discount certificates through Restaurants.com. Examples of typical certificates are a $25 certificate for $10 ($15 savings) or a $10 certificate for $3 ($7 savings). Sometimes, during promotional events, the discounts are even higher. Before you get all excited (and who wouldn't be!) here are some things you should know about the discounts:
- usually only one certificate per couple or table is allowed
- there is always a minimum amount, usually excluding tax, tip and alcohol, that you have to spend
- gratuity may be automatically included on your bill if you use a certificate
- there may be some dates that are excluded. Before you purchase a certificate, call the restaurant and make sure it will be accepted on the night you intend to go.
- certificates have an expiration date.
- The best part, besides getting a great deal, is that you print the certificates right on your own computer. Make sure you have ink! There are no postage or convenience charges. It's immediate, so you can pick a place tonight and go.
