The food is very good. The problem is that the portions have gotten smaller as the place has been open. The service has gotten slower as well. It seems like the restaurant has gone downhill to accommodate the level the other restaurants in town.

(99th & McDowell) Just had dinner at the McDowell location. Wonderful! Had the Pastitsio and was thoroughly pleased! The service was prompt, attentive(but not overly), the dish was HOT and delicious. I travel extensively and food is a passion for me. Well, good food. Life is way too short to endure anything other than good food. But, when I am back in the Phoenix area, which will be in two weeks, I will be back. Truly wonderful!

(Avondale) WOW! I couldn't believe the response I got from their Vice President for submitting a simple customer complaint about the service we recieved when I took my wife to dinner there for Mother's day. Although eventually the manager did not charge us for the dinner due to the Horrible service, I would never have thought I would receive a response as cold as this. The atmosphere was relaxing and our waiter attentive. I am, however, unpleased with my most recient dine there. While I have only had the chance to have their wares twice, it is unlikely that I will return. On my first occasion I had the GYRO plate which was ordered for me as a to-go dish. I was pleased with the potatos, rice, mixed vegetables, and beef/lamb slices. The next day we happened to be in the area again and I was able to try it in person. Our waiter was curtious and the location was comfortable. We enjoyed an order of calimari, then a salad. I orederd the Braised Lamb. Wow, big portions. Tonight, however, all was different. The same sides came with this dinner and they were off taste. The mixed vegetables were not what I had experienced the previous night, and once they cooled they gave off a rather septic scent. My Lamb was bland and had a seaworthy taste to it. Our waiter failed at the end when he did not ask if all was well with my dinner as I only ate a small small portion of it. Maybe everyone had a bad day there, I'm not sure. I do know, however, that I will appologize to the owners of Dino's, in Goodyear, AZ, the next time that I am there.

(Tempe) Loved the resuarant's food and service! Im guessing some hagglers out there may want to put a great place down, but i refuse to take part in this silliness. My best advice to those that want to be treated rudely is go find another restuarant to eat at because there are plenty of them in Phoenix! One more thing to those trying to give crappy reveiws to get free food elsewhere or to take advantage of their great personalities: "SHAME ON YOU!
