People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

(Ahwatukee) The restaurant was wonderful. The food was delicous and a large assortment of items to select from. This is probably the best chinese food buffet I have dined in. The facilities were very clean and the service was excellent. I will recommend Hong Kong Gourmet to everyone I know.

(Ahwatukee) The selection of sushi (made to order, quick and fresh) salads to soup, noodles and rice, fresh veggie dishes, tofu, chicken, beef, duck, pork, seafood, sashimi, and deserts is second to none. The service is first rate (always). Your drink will never run dry. The atmosphere is clean, stylish and pretty. The food is so great I eat lunch there as often as possible, and I take my family at least once a week. It is my 5 year old's favorite too, they have mongolian bbq which is also amazing. Check the difference between lunch and dinner menu's, it's different at night. Always awesome. I am so glad this is ten minutes from my home. Highest reccommendations, we take out of town guests there and they are very impressed also.

The food was fantastic, hot, and freshly prepared. The Manager Debra was excellent, and has a wonderful reparte with her repeat customers. I have eaten there for over three years, and the food quality is always great. The sushi is amazing. Its the bomb!

This buffet has very good crab legs and the mongolian grill is very good. They also have a wide variety of foods on there regular buffet. The only bad thing about this restaraunt is the service. I have eaten there many times and have never been treated with respect.

(Ahwatukee location) I HAVE SEEN A OWNER OR MANAGER OF THE RESTAURANT TAKE THE PLATE OF CUSTOMER HANDS OR TABLE, BECAUSE THEY GOT TO EAT BEFORE DINNER AN AT 3:30 ONCE THEY SERVED DINNER THEY DO NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE THE COMPLETE BUFFET. I STRONGLY URGE ALL CUSTOMERS TO CALL THE APPROPIATE AUTHORITHIES TO INVESTIGATE ON THIS. WHEN I CALL AND TALK TO MGR. DEBRA, SHE TOLD ME SHE DIDNT CARE ABOUT IT.
