Spring Break Camps - 2014

Camps are Fun and Educational


When Spring Break comes around each year, not everyone has a great trip planned. If you want your kids to have a something special to do for several days during spring break, a Spring Camp might be the answer. These places in the greater Phoenix area have a Spring Break program.

Not interested in sending the kids to camp for Spring Break? Here are some other fun activities for Spring Break around town.

1. Arizona Diamondbacks Training Centers

D-backs Baseball Academy spring camps cover comprehensive baseball fundamentals including throwing, receiving, hitting, infield, outfield, base running, pitching and catching. Camps are located in various locations and are geared boys and girls ages 6 - 14. Teacher/student ratios are kept low.

2. Arizona Science Center

At the Arizona Science Center camps you can expect that the kids will be creating something or experimenting with something (and learning something!). Four different camp groups cover ages 5 - 14. Phoenix.

3. Arizona Sunrays

Half days and full days in North/Central Phoenix. Gymnastics, dance, karate, games, sports, fitness fun, snacks. Ages 3 - 12.

4. Chandler Environmental Education Center Spring Nature Camp

During the two-week Spring break camp, kids from 5-12 explore the environment through games, activities, experiments, hikes and crafts. General recreation, sports, math, arts and crafts, computer and horsemanship programs are also offered at various Chandler locations.

5. Chandler Center for the Arts Spring Break Camp

Campers will be a part of a skill-building week of performing arts training with focus on dancing and singing. They will work on popular song and dance combinations from smash Broadway musicals to the latest Top 40 hits. After a week of fun, the kids and their family will be invited to a special educational show. Ages 7-14. Also, offered, a Teen Improv program for ages 13 - 17.

6. Copperstar Repertory Co.

Spring Break Camps at Copperstar are about fun and hands on creative learning experiences in musical theatre, making great friends and working with amazing teachers. Programs for ages 8 - 15 and ages 3 - 7. Two sessions in March. Chandler.

7. Coyote Camp at the Hole-in-the-Wall River Ranch

Coyote Camp™, a children's activity program, offers the little ones a true Southwestern experience with gold panning, arrowhead hunts, tepee building, and more. Action-packed days of activities for children ages 4 to 12.

8. East Valley Children's Theatre

Act, sing and dance you way through spring break. Camp runs for 5 days with classes in acting, singing and dancing. Ages 7-13.

9. Glendale Spring Break

A week-long program in Glendale packed with games, arts and crafts, field trips and more. Registration is $100 per child for the week or $25 daily. 10. Kids That Rip! Spring SK8 Camp

Ages 5-15 are invited to grab their skateboards and come to spring camp. Skaters will be grouped according to skill level and placed with an instructor. Skate all 7 sections of the parks each day. All experience levels welcome. Mesa.
