The Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl has been played in Phoenix since 2000. It all started in Tucson, Arizona in 1989 as the Copper Bowl. The Copper Bowl became the Insight.com Bowl when Insight Enterprises signed a long term deal to be title sponsor of the game, and in 2002 the name was changed to the Insight Bowl. After 2011 the name of the bowl game was changed again, and is now known as the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.

Who is playing this year?The TCU Horned Frogs will play the Michigan State Spartans. These two teams have not played each other in more than 50 years!
UPDATE December 30, 2012: Michigan State's kicker hit a successful 49-yard field goal with about a minute left in the game to beat the Horned Frogs by a score of 17-16.
Is there a pre-game party?Yes, of course there is! It's the Buffalo Wild Wings Tablegate presented by Coca-Cola Zero. Football fans will gather from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Parking Lot #3 at Arizona State University. Jumbotrons will be showing team highlights. There will be interactive games, cheerleading and marching band performances from the visiting schools. A meal is included with your ticket. Musical headliner for the event: Cheap Trick.
