This year the following Arizona Diamondbacks are scheduled to appear (subject to change): Doug Davis, Stephen Drew, Dan Haren, Conor Jackson, Miguel Montero, Augie Ojeda, Mark Reynolds, Max Scherzer, Chris Snyder, Chad Tracy, Justin Upton and Chris Young, manger Bob Melvin, bench coach Kirk Gibson and pitching coach Bryan Price. Also scheduled are D-backs alumni Jay Bell, Matt Williams, Reggie Sanders, Omar Daal and Kelly Stinnett, broadcasters Daron Sutton, Mark Grace, Greg Schulte, Tom Candiotti, Jeff Munn, Miguel Quintana and Oscar Soria.

In 2009 the Arizona Diamondbacks will hold Fan Fest on February 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix, AZ.

10 Things To Know Before You Go To Fan Fest

  1. Fan Fest is free to attend. It's an appreciation day for the Arizona Diamondbacks fans.
  2. You'll probably have to pay for parking, maybe $10 or more, unless you are wiling to walk more than five or six blocks, and depending on what else is going on in downtown Phoenix that day.
  3. There are giveaways and contests, but expect to stand on long lines. The staff tries to keep them moving though, so be patient. It's part of the fun!
  4. At the D-Backs Fan Fest some of the players and some of the coaches will appear to sign autographs and pose for photos. Bring your camera!
  5. The autographs and photos work on a voucher system. There is a $5 charge for the voucher, and the proceeds all go to benefit Arizona Diamondbacks charities. Get to Fan Fest early! Once the vouchers are sold out, no other ones will be issued and you won't get those autographs.
  6. Bring your own caps, shirts, and baseball cards if that's what you want autographed. Otherwise, players and coaches will use their own glossy photos to autograph for you, no extra charge.
  7. The Team Shop is open on Fan Fest day. There are vendor booths set up where you can purchase collectibles and baseball memorabilia.
  8. Outside, weather permitting, kids have an opportunity to participate in basic clinics with the Arizona Diamondbacks. Image how cool it would be to hit a wiffle ball off Dan Haren or Doug Davis!
  9. For many Fan Fest attendees, the highlight of the day is the ability to go into the D-backs dugout and walk through the locker room.
  10. On Fan Fest Day, you can also take a look at any seats that may still be available for season ticket subscriptions.
