Dramagenics Family Improv Theater is a short-form improvisational comedy experience. Since 2007 The Mixed Nuts have been performing shows that are suitable for the entire family at Dramagenics. The Mixed Nuts are also available to entertain at your corporate event, party, doggie play group and other group functions. Did I write doggie play group? I didn't mean that, but I guess they would do that if you hired them to.

At the ticket office on show nights, if seats are available.

1. Show times are every Friday and Saturday evening at 7 p.m.
2. Every show is different, since the combination of improv performers varies and the audience participates in choosing the topics for the scenes each night.
3. You can bring the kids to this show -- no foul language or sexually explicit situations.
4. On the evening I attended, there were couples dating, married couples, families with children, and girls on a weekend night out. Quite a variety!
5. The Dramagenics Family Improv Theater is in a strip mall, and is clearly signed.
6. There is a small concession stand offering candy, popcorn, soft drinks and water at reasonable prices. Purchased snacks may be brought into the theater.
7. The theater seats more than 100 people. Seats don't have arms, they are the padded, hotel ballroom-type chairs.
8. "The Mixed Nuts" is the name of the improv troupe that performs. There are about 15 performers in the group.
9. Tickets are $12 each. Children under 12, seniors, active military and students receive a $1 discount. (July 2009)
