People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

My husband and I went here for our 33rd anniversary. It was the best. The food was excellent. It took us about 2 1'2 hours to dine but oh so worth it. I love to be surprised with food and boy did they deliver. You tell them what you want for your entree, what your dislikes are and they do the rest. I would definately recommend this place to anyone. Chef Tim tells you all about the dish, what is in it and how it is made. The presentation is beautiful. Chef Tim will answer all your questions about how he prepares the meal, sauces whatever. Do not be put off with the dining room decor. (I would love to take some paint and give it a fresh new look) At $50 per person the meal is well worth it. My husband had the veal as his entree. If you had purchased the amount of veal on his plate at the grocery store price would be looking at a good $20 or more. You can tell that Chef Tim takes pride in his craft. Please check out this great find in Downtown Mesa you will not leave hungry or disappointed in the choices that were made for you.

Bak'd has to be one of mesa most hidden secrets. The food there is mouth watering every bite your taste something different. You can tell that Chef Tim but all is heart behind all his plates. It is by reservations only so call before you go 602-692-1980. This is the place to go if you a looking to wine and dine a date.
