People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

The ambiance was airy and nice. The menu however was very sparse, offering only a short list of breakfast selections and sandwiches from which to choose. The majority of the meal was OK and to their credit, my eggs did not have runny whites. However, the rosemary potatoes tasted as though they were soaked in a salt brine. The saltiness was so strong that I could not detect any hint of rosemary. The Margaritas tasted alright and they weren't watered down. All in all, the experience was less then memorable and a bit spendy for what you get in return.

(Scottsdale Road and 101) Had a fantasic experience at the location at Scottsdale and 101. Great wine list and steak skewers were fantastic. Parking was a little crowded, but that was probably due to movie theatre next door.

Cafe Carumba is a nice place downtown in Scottsdale that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. It is great for all of those and is a perfect location if you are staying downdown. Their cuisine is latin inspired, but familiar to the American palette. Great wine list too.

Cafe Carumba, which serves traditional American dishes infused with the flavor and essences of South and Central Amercia, is a great destination. We go there before theatre and events in Scottsdale and breakfast and lunch is great too for business or friends. The prices are unbeatable and there is a great atmosphere. Try the Ameri-tapas menu or go to happy hour for great deals.
