People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

We LOVE Charlestons !!! The chips and salsa are nearly perfect - besting most Mexican food restaurants in town. The dinner salad is crispy and has REAL bacon and boiled egg and the most tasty Ranch dressing. It comes with a completely delicious croissant which has a light buttery, sweet coating on the outside. Best croissant I have ever had at a restaurant anywhere. Every entree I have tried is very good. I particularly like the pork chops, and others in the family have raved over the GIANT-SIZED Chicken Fried Steak. We go there as often as reasonable. You'll like the food I PROMISE !!!

(unspecified location) This was the worst dining experiance I ever had! The waitressserved us the wrong order and she didn't offer to change it. We had to ask her to change it. They had horrible service.NEVER go there

Another outstanding dining experience for me and a friend who is from San Francisco. It was the Police and Fire Department Olympics in Mesa which brought him to AZ. I live in Surprise. Neither one of us had been to a Charleston Restaurant. We just happened upon it by chance. He had a chicken and avocado sandwich. I had a cheeseburger. Both were perfect. We both ordered the cole slaw which was excellent. The service was phenomenal. Our server, Derick, was exceptional. The manager stopped by, too. It's great to see "customer service" back in vogue. we were there on a Friday night. It was crowded and noisy. Tho we had a reservation we still had to wait. The waitress brought the wrong order and when she apologized didn't offer to change it until we asked. I would not go back.
