LOVED IT! I live in Central Phoenix, there are some good restaurants there are some great and there are some HORRIBLE!!! I totally enjoyed eating here. The staff was warm and inviting, the knowledge was a little off but it is BRAND FREAKING NEW so I got over it, The drinks I had were great, refreshing and original, the wine selection was amazing. Small batch production wines . Wines that I have not heard of but was willing to try. I was there with a few friends, we shared everything, so it gave us all a chance to try as much as possible. The manager was friendly and knowledgeable he was a younger, slender, grey haired guy that has waited on me elsewhere. He was here to make me feel at “home” He helped our server choose our wines and relaxed the already awkward dinner. I also had the opportunity to meet Maizie and some of her VERY supportive family. All I can say is I have new faith in FAMILY! AMAZING! SIMPLY AMAZING!!! I eat out A LOT and for the !
location, food and service this place is WONDERFUL!!!! I will be back and I will suggest it to EVERYONE I KNOW. The price points are perfect for the menu and the location. It is not Mortons, Houston or Capitol City. It is what is a small family owned Bistro Café with family values and good food.

I really enjoyed this place, The food was unique. We had the brie quesadilla as an appetizer and it was awesome. The Service was quick, the staff was friendly. It is definitely a place I will be returning to soon in the future and highly recommend it.

One of the most amazing places to enjoy good conversation and great food. The service to begin was friendly and full of personality. The owners of the restaurant show their care and compassion by taking the time to visit each and every table. The food was served fresh and hot, providing a full stomach each visit. Pricing is perfect for the amount of food you receive. Cannot wait to go and visit again!

I READ THE RECENT REVIEW FROM TOM REGARDING MAIZIE'S CAFE & BISTRO. I'M NOT SURE WHAT HE WAS ON AT THE TIME BUT I HAVE BEEN A REGULAR CUSTOMER FROM THE TIME THEY OPENED. THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING, THE SERVICE IS FIRST CLASS AND THE PRICING IS JUST WHAT THE CENTRAL CORRIDOR NEEDED. I LIVE NEAR BY AND I KNOW A NUMBER OF NEIGHBORS THAT HAVE RAVED ABOUT IT AS WELL.

While I've enjoyed many of the dishes at Maizie's my favorite is probably the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwhich. The chicken was grilled to perfection and juicy. My wife really enjoys the Shrimp Orleans (the Shrimp is fresh). Service was good but I think I enjoy the environment the most. It has some great seating areas to relax. All these things combined make it an enjoyable place to spend an evening with friends.

Indescribably mediocre, and for the price, a total joke. The service was clueless and the kitchen was slow, 2 of the wines I ordered were turned, and the 3rd had cork in it. The signature "inside-out" burger was a disgrace--dry, burnt, and crumbly on the outside, scolding hot and dripping with grease on the inside, with the promised bacon nowhere to be found. Wouldn't recommend, would never return. Bad, bad, bad.
