People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

(Mesa, Power Road) I read the comments from Chris about Mi Amigo on Southern Ave in Mesa, AZ and just had to counter his comments on this restaurant. i have eaten at this place on a frequent basis for the last ten years. I have always been greeted by a friendly hostess and generally the food and service is very good. The best thing for me is that the food is mild enough that it doesn't bring on an acid reflux attack that i have experienced eating at other Mexican Restaurants.

(Phoenix) Me and my wife to the Arizona center to see movies at least twice a month, and every time we go, we get nothing but great service, from the hostess to servers and bussers are always there to help us. The food is very good, i love to order the Sonora Carnitas wow they are great ( but not good for the waist) my wife loves there Margaritas. What i have learned over the Years is if the Restroom of a restaurant is clean, the kitchen must be clean also. they have there health inspection posted,most of them are Gold..and i'am assuming that is good So everyone at MiAmigo's keep up the good work

The green corn tamales are the bomb as is most everything else on the menu! It's my favorite place to eat. Great food, relaxed atmosphere at a reasonable price. Love it!

I love Mi Amigo's! I have been going there for over 20 years. Everytime I go, I am greeted my a smile and taken care of through out my meal. The food is always fresh and tasty. No other mexican restaurant compares. You can't beat the chips and salsa-isn't that what a great Mexican restaurant is based on?

(Mesa, Power Road location) The wait staff was very disrespectful from the get go. Our waiter, Jason, was very rude and only came to our table once and filled one glass of tea. The food was mediocre and not well presented. After eating, Jason threw the bill plate onto our table and that was the last we saw of him. Our bill was 23.66, and he only got a 1.34 tip because neither my wife or I had any change to leave the correct amount. The hostess didn't greet us upon entering, nor upon leaving. There was also food on the walls and menus. We also filed a complaint with the County Health Dept.
