This kitchen rocks! Pizza the way it should be - light and full of fresh authentic ingredients. The place is a little small and it can get a little warm if you sit near the over (no problem in the cooler months). This is the real deal - ma and pa italian at its best. If you read this review...please keep it a secret! I want to get a table when I roll in.... Not only pizza but the calamari is about as good as it gets! If you live in the west valley or the northwest for that matter, you can't beat it! If you live in other parts of the valley, lower your nose and head out to the this side of town. You'll be glad you did.

Without a doubt, this is the best pizza in the entire valley. The brick oven is the finest, and it bakes the pizza in the manner that you would expect if you were visiting the finest pizzaria in Italy. The family that owns it are some of the nicest people that I have met, WITH ONE EXCEPTION. That is the fact that they are New York Giant fans, and I, and my wife, are fans of the New England Patriots, and I am the founder and former president of the New England Patriots Fan Club Of Arizona. I had the occasion to meet one of the family members, Justin, just before the Super Bowl in Glendale, and he told me about his pizza restaurant. My wife and I have been there on several occasions and we both say that it is the best pizza that either of us have had, and believe me, I am very fussy. I would reccommend the place to anyone. And by the way, their cheesecake is home made and is REAL New York Style. I am a very fussy cheesecake lover and have searched the valley for 20 years for REAL NY cheese cake. This is the real thing. Hey Justin, if you read this, hope to see you soon.

Magnificent!!!! I was just in Italy in February and this is every bit as good. I'm from New York originally and never thought I would find as good as that in the Phoenix area but I was totally wrong!!! I'm just glad I live close by.

This is a family restaurant which makes me think I am eating in one of those nice homely places in Italy. The food is super and the pizza seems to be from original recipes from the old country. The food is also complemented by a good selection of wines. Most important, even when the eating experience is very good, the prices for a family is very reasonable.

My husband and I had our Valentines dinner at La Piazza Al Forno in Glendale, AZ tonight. The food was exceptional along with everyone associated with the restaurant. It is so nice to have a restaurant that has such high caliber of food in the area. As my husband told Dennis, Justin and their staff/families, "We no longer have to go to Scottsdale to have a high quality meal". We have been there on other occasions and with friends and have found that what ever we order the food is excellent. Their meals will satisfy vegetarian to meat lovers. Our friends now go there and tell us of their experience of eating at La Piazza Al Forno. The staff Justin Piazza, Rachel Piazza, Dennis Piazza, Anita Piazza and the rest of their family and staff have always been wonderful. They take care of their customers and even go out of their way. Requests from the customers are filled quickly.

Brick fire oven makes for spectactular pizza. Calamari fried perfectly with an awesome marinara, the stuffed shrimp pasta...to die for! I swear! Portions are HUGE! Made to order and the staff is excellent. Did I mention dessert? Unbelieveably delicious. The chocolate canoli was awesome, and their homemade cheesecake rocked! Big chain places have nothing on La Piazza Al Forno! Well Lit, tasteful decor, and nothing looks cheesy unless it's ordered that way. They've got a customer for life in me.

I have been there twice and both times my entree was delicious. This is a family owned restaurant and the owners are friendly and care about their patrons.

The restaurant is new, has only been open for 2 weeks and I have been there 3 times. They serve Italian Food and Pizza cooked in a wood fired oven. The food is excellent and the pizza's are as good as Pizzeria Bianco, except that you won't have to stand in line.
