People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

This is the best, homemade, top quality Greek food I have ever eaten. The owners work and involve themselves with all the customers and are absolutely wonderful. He cooks himself, utilizing fresh top-of-the-line ingredients, filled with flavor and perfection. I have tried almost every dish to date and live for the specials. The bell peppers or lamb chops are to die for! The hummus is homemade and the atmosphere is cozy, friendly and impeccably clean and neat. We go there as much as we can and highly suggest it!

The food was so authentic I thought I was back in Greece. Greek food is one of my favorites, but hadn't found a local restaurant that was really good. I had the lamb kabob's and they were wonderful, but there were so many items on the menu I wanted to try. The husband and wife owners make you feel like they are welcoming you into their home. This is definitely a must try.

After reading reviews at this site, we ate here and agreed with everyone that this is a restaurant to put on our favorites list. They are one of the few Greek/Mideast cafes to serve lemon chicken soup. Everything we tried was very tasty. The owners are especially friendly and attentive. It is a cozy restaurant with an outdoor patio. At happy hour they offer half-price appetizers and wine.

As you know, George Charalambous and Jamie Contreras are the owners of pitta sovuli but they are also my cousins. When they opened the restaurant, I came in. After i ate I asked my cousins how you did get those recipes? george answered. He said that he got it from his mother. She lives in greece. their food is very delicous. you should try their beef gyros and roasted herb lemon potatoes it's out of the world!

Checked it out when they opened and I have been visiting ever since at least once a week. The food is absolutely delicious. Their lentil salad is out of this world (as is everything). They will let you build your own 'what-ever'. One of their specials was a lamb burger that was slamming!!! It is clean, warm, and friendly. The folks who run it are just lovely. I highly recommend it and cannot say enough about how wonderful it truly is.

We were on our way to Pita Jungle, when I remembered a friend had told me about this new place that was similar to Pita Jungle. So we went and WOW!! Super yummy, really cute, and really healthy. They have the one of the best Greek Salads I've had. I'm really excited because it's close to home and the gym!!

I have been waiting for a great restuarant to come in near by, and it finally has! One trip in and you will feel at home, the husband and wife ownership combo make for an awesome feel! The best food I have tried there is the pastitsio (Greek Lasagne). It is not a regular, just a special at this point. We love it! Can't wait for the next date night!!!

I am a vegetarian and they had awesome options and not just vegetarian side dishes like most Greek restaurants. It was the first time i had grilled falafel and it was delicious. My husband loves gyro and said it was the best yet. Next time i will try their kebabs, I heard its very good and they have veggie kebabs as well.

A quaint little restaraunt - very cozy! I loved the grilled halloumi (cheese). They let me "build my own" flat-bread pizza - PERFECT!! Thier chicken souvlaki was EXCELLENT, and althogh they do not use pitted kalumata olives, they have one of the best Greek salads around!!!

They have Absolutely the best souvlaki I have ever tried. I tried the chicken and the beef until now it is excellent. They also have a cheese called halloumi which tastes amazing. They grill and serve it with eggplants and tomatoes. A must try.
