People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

I am not sure if it was the color of my skin but my child and my self were deliberately not seated at Pizzeria Bianco. Many other two tops and families would put their names on the list. Then come join us outside while complaining about the wait time. Within an hr and ½ their two person wait was over when we had clearly arrived well before them. The outside bar maid would look at us yet never offered to take a beverage order from us, she offered all around us, so we went and got our own drinks as it was extremely hot out. After 3 hours of waiting and never being seated we left. Both of us were very disappointed. This is a lesson for people of color that a child should not have to learn. I have eaten at biancos before and had a pleasant experience. From this experience I recognized that I will never spend my money in a place that selectively decides who they are going to seat and not seat. I work downtown in a high volume area where many people request dining information. From this terrible experience I will discourage every visitor that I come across from frequenting this pizzeria. Pizzeria Bianco is a restaurant that I do not recommend.

All the Hype - not worth it. We waited 2 1/2 hours and I was very disappointed. We are from Central Jersey and grew up with multiple great pizza locations. We love Patsy Grimaldi's and a walk-up place called slices in Tempe. Bianco's way over rated. We went with friends from California and they liked the pizza but there taste is much different then ours. I have no intention of ever going back. We do plan on trying another place in Phoenix called Cipo.

The pizza is good. I've been there twice. The first time we walked right in and sat down to be greeted by our server immediately. Now how many people can claim that? The pizza was scrumptious, the salad yummy and our wine choice was great. Did witness a huge argument between the owner and a customer - didn't expect entertainment too! Anyway, I raved about the pizza so much that the next time we were in town I took my husband to try it out. We waited then we waited some more. It was hot and we got tired of sitting in the wine bar so went outside and found some semi-comfortable chairs in the grass between the two buildings. Finally got in, the wait inside was long too and when it finally arrived the much raved about pizza wasn't so great - not like the first time. So I guess even the number one pizza place in America can have an off day!
