People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

Sad really. Enjoyed food & waitress. Planned on leaving 5 stars. When I went to pay a tall, black haired lady was on the phone & NEVER got off! I'm n retail. Need I say more.

The food was very good and the servers pleasant and friendly. I will go back again soon as it was a nice place to eat, clean, and homey.

OK, another reviewer had a bad experience... That happens even at the best places. But the Blue Plate is the best overall. Great food, great service, good prices. You can't NOT have the breakfasts here...they're tasty, plentiful, and served in a timely manner. Do yourself a favor: eat here.

This morning we dined at the Blue Plate Brunchery and it was absolutely delicious. We all enjoyed our breakfast immensely. After reading the previous review we were a little leary but were pleasantly surprised by the service and quality of the menu items. The omelets, hash browns and biscuits were wonderful.

We went in yesterday 7-8-07 at 1 pm. I stood at hostess stand for over 3 minutes while two men and one women, looked to be the owners, counted money. I was not wearing my invisible suit that day, but to them I was invisible. We left. They may have been making money, but there are not getting ours. A cordial "I'll be with you in a minute" acknowledgement would have been nice and kept us there.
