People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

It's about time AZ gets some great Mid _West fast food...Great burgers- fries and cement shakes, but best of all is the tenderloin, none like it in AZ......

(Mesa)I really don't enjoy fast foods and hardly every go to these kinds of restaurants, My wife and I did, however, go to Culver's in Mesa last night, at the suggestion of friends from IL, and it was OK. The franchisee has 2 Arizona stores, one in Deer Valley and one in Mesa. We have the best gelato in the Phoenix area a couple miles from our home, and frequent it regularly, so the highly-acclaimed frozen custard wasn't really much in comparison - it impressed us as egg-flavored soft ice cream. The fries were kind of soggy - probably would have been marvelous if they had been served promptly. Her salad was heaped so high in the bowl that there was no room for dressing and a fork - so the table got to enjoy some of it, too. The burgers were cooked to death in spite of our medium-rare request, but the cheese was not melted. Mine was over-stuffed with shedded, then chopped lettuce, which the table again got to enjoy. We had sundaes for dessert and my banana split had the same overflow problems. I had a strawberry-banana shake that was very good, as was her rootbeer float. My feeling is that their prices are comparable to many Valley sit-down restaurants. It is unlikely that we'll be back.
