People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

Joe's Crab Shack on Baseline in Tempe. rating: 1 star Unfortunately, the service at Joe's Crab Shack in Tempe is appalling. When my family of three arrived the restaurant was not crowded. Our server was very young and spent more of his time talking and playing with the female servers. Service was so slow we ask to speak to the manager. Eventually, when the food arrived the dinners was warm. Despite, several gestures to our server, he walked by our table with out asking how our food taste; and he never ask if we needed aything. Finally my husband became upset and approached the manager regarding the awful service. The manager did apologize. Still the food and service is the worse. Nevertheless, I will never recommend Joe's Crab Shack to anyone who desires good food and timely service.

The food was awful, it was cold, rubbery and no taste at all. The coctails were like tap water. Now lets talk about the staff. Awful. We were sat in the bar in the corner and was seen maybe 1x after our meal. Dont waste your time or money, I did it for you ;-)

hi we had a group of 12 that went to joe's crab shack the service was very slow & the food was so-so had the cocunt shrimp but it had no flavor at all would not order again. the bad part is the server overcharged me & i'v e-mailed 3 times but i guess if the service is bad the owner has to be bad too would i go back?-NO-would i tell other people of this place-NO there are lots of better places to eat in tempe. be sure to watch you bill you get & sign & then when your credit card bill comes that it matches the original one.
