People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

Matt's Big Breakfast is the ultimate diner experience. Positives: I'll choose a family owned diner over a chain-restaurant any day. Loved the thick bacon, bone-in ham, choice of toasts (walnut raisin and sour dough) home fries, hash browns, fresh squeezed OJ, reasonable prices, and good service. Minuses: 40 minute wait, waffle was soft rather than crisp, coffee was mediocre (McDonald's has better coffee) and the diner is way too small (which is also part of the ambiance, though). Would I go again?In a heart beat! It was an enjoyable experience.

I live in Chandler and my mom was visiting from Ohio and we decided to try Matt's Big Brekfast, it was delicious, absolutely the best pancakes i have ever had so light and fluffy and flavorful, and my mom got scrambled eggs bacon and hash browns and we shared everything was the best ever especially the eggs.
