People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

(Goodyear) Being from the Pacific NW we were already familiar with McGrath's and regular customers but after three tries at Goodyear we won't be back. Our Salmon was sent back on two visits on one it was the best we've ever had however. Service is awesome except for the bimboettes up front that can't even tell you goodbye. What's that about??? Our food was awful!!!!!!The chowder had no potatoes, no fish, no nothing just lukewarm milk. Yuk!! Really dissappointed.

On Wednesday, Jan. 9, my husband and I stopped for lunch at McGrath's in Goodyear where we have eaten several times before. We were served our drinks and waited 15 minutes before the waiter said "I'll be right with you". After another 10 minutes he started to take orders from people who had come in after us. We went to the front of the restaurant and asked to speak to a manger. We were seated in another (deserted) part of the restaurant and after 10 more minutes, never saw a manger (or anyone else)so we left and had lunch elsewhere. They really didn't seem to be concerned with the terrible and inconsistent service and we noticed the waiter smiling at the situation. We will never return and will not recommend McGrath's to anyone as I will relay this story to my friends. I am appalled that everone was so unconcerned and even put out that we complained because we expected to have our order taken before 30 or more minutes went by and certainly in the proper order and not be sitting there while other people who were seated after us were waited on. I might add that it was a Wednesday at lunch and not terribly busy at the time.
