People just have to let me know. They go to a restaurant in the greater Phoenix area, and they either loved it or hated it--there's not much in between! I created these pages so that you, the visitors to About.com Phoenix, could have your say. As for the rating, one star is the worst, five stars is the best.
Now, a word of warning--every once in a while I'll get a review from someone who has a specific agenda in mind. A really bad review might be from a disgruntled employee. A really good review might be from the owner or manager. Unless I specifically mention that I have edited a review for some reason, you see the comments posted here exactly as I received them.

Consider yourself warned! If considering Better Than Sex Cafe, LOOK ELSWHERE! They will leave you high and dry. My wife had seen an advertisement from Better Than Sex marketing their cakes, so she asked for her b-day cake from there. I ordered it July 10th for pick up in the afternoon on July 11th and was told they would bake it in the morning and have it ready by lunch time the next day but I could pick it up as late as 5PM, which is when they close. I arrived between 3-3:15 PM and the doors were locked with the lights off. There was no phone call or message waiting for me when I got home....and I still have no b-day cake for my wife, who is due home at 5:30PM. I called and left a message on Better Than Sex's answering machine and waited a bit but no response, so I quickly looked up Cathy's Rum Cakes number online and gave them a call. Fortunately Cathy's had a Chocolate/Chocolate Rum w/Whipped Cream frosting (the top layer of our wedding cake) ready in their restaurant's fridge and sold it to me. I paid a little more, but it's worth it because their cakes are of higher quality and frankily...they saved me on this one. Again, be forewarned...do NOT trust Better Than Sex Cake with your business.

Just had my employee birthday luncheon there today based on a review by the local newspaper. Wonderful food, great atmosphere, and the 'carrot cake' was to die for. Will be going back and VERY SOON!

I read your review of Better than Sex Cake Cafe and had to try it. Your article was so right on. Four of us went through the search to find it, we ate out on the patio enjoying the garden. We all tried something different and spent the rest of the meal tasting each others food. The grilled vegie sandwich, the burger, the quiche and the pizza were all some of the best we'd ever had. Yes the soup was incredible, that day it was Marsala Mushroom, but you said to skip the fries, NO, they were hot, crispy and seasoned to perfection. Thanks for another great recommendation, you have not been wrong yet.
