Participation in these musical groups are by audition.

Three things about Scottsdale Musical Arts that people might not know.

1. We have various groups for adults and children looking to participate in choral and orchestral groups: Scottsdale Children's Choir, Scottsdale Youth Orchestras, Scottsdale Choral Artists, Scottsdale Arts Orchestra.
2. While auditions are required to participate in all groups, novices who are willing to work hard are welcome in the children's choir.
3. While our season runs from August to May, we are always open to hearing auditions of interested musicians.

Scottsdale Musical Arts is committed to preserving the future of fine music. In addition to providing outlets of expression by musicians, our secondary purpose is to present opportunities for audiences to enjoy meaningful musical experiences. Our organization seeks to encourage participants to grow as musicians, as individuals and as members of the community. Adults in the organization serve as mentors to the younger members, inspiring them to reach new levels of skill and appreciation for the art.

Business Concept
The organization has been designed specifically for its synergy. Children's groups have the opportunity to perform alone or with other children's groups, expanding their exposure to a wide range of peers and providing rich performance experiences. Children also have the rare opportunity to perform alongside professional musicians who are members of the organization.

Public Service
For our audiences, we perform music that has endured throughout the years because of its power to touch the human spirit. Music helps us make sense of our lives, express feelings when we have no words, understand things with our hearts when we can't with our minds. Our hope is to touch people's lives and create joy through our craft.
