My Review 

We go to Rocky Point many times a year and love it. The beaches are VERY clean compared to most US beaches and it is relatively inexpensive although as it become more popular the prices are rising accordingly. Our favorite place to stay is [deleted by About.com Phoenix]. It's clean, reasonably priced and has a great beach. RP can be crowded on holiday weekends, so be prepared. We alternate between 'adults only' trips and bringing the family. Either way we always have a good time. You have to remember that you're not in the US and things will not be a 'fancy', but if you relax and enjoy you'll have a fantastic time. If you are looking for the typical US resort experience you should probably stay in the US. We read comments here about RP being filthy and the vendors being gov't subsidized. Not sure what that's all about but I guess it just proves "different stroke for different folks". The only advise we would give is...it seems sometimes people feel they can 'get away' with things in Mexico that they wouldn't try in the US (we're not talking sex here). Obey the law and act responsibly and you'll have a blast!
