Allison DuBois: A Real Medium?
My mum and I believed Allison has a wonderful gift and 100% are believers. However when we saw Allison in person we both left disappointed and shocked! Allison arrived on the night in a pair of jeans and a casual top - she looked very unprofessional. Allison in my opinion was extremely rude to members of the audience and when she failed to deliver correct information it was the person in the audience's fault. Instead of giving readings I felt she gave her opinion and made very broad statements. I was shocked at how rude she is.
How I Felt About What Allison DuBois Had to Say
My mum was selected to have a reading. Allison could not have been more wrong in what she said. My mum asked Allison to get in contact with her Grandmother ( one of the nicest, sweetest people who ever live) and Allison said "your grandmother is relieved she is where she is, she thought she was going to the other place, the hot place" our whole family was shocked! What an insensitive thing to say to a grieving family. Allison failed to say anything that was correct, and blamed that on my mum. She then went on a ridiculous rant that no one had any idea on what she was talking about but all we could gather was - everyone needs to be remembered for something and pretty much if you are not famous you will not be remembered for anything. As crazy and ridiculous as that sounds it is true. My mother and I are 100% believers and we know that our loved ones are with us and watch over us every single day. Yet we left disappointed and saddened by Allison as a person and a medium. In her books she comes across as a caring, kind lady who uses her wonderful gift to help others, yet in real life we didn't feel that towards her at all.
Lessons Learned
- After seeing Allison in Brisbane my mother and I both agreed that we would no longer read another book that Allison wrote. For weeks afterwards we both felt down and depressed about the false or just ridiculous information she gave us about our loved one. We felt depressed as we believed that Allison truly has a gift and for a short period of time was giving us the time of day and connecting us to someone we both love dearly. Sadly she failed in a big way! While conducting readings Allison scribbled on paper which was something I have never seen before and made her look crazy! 1000% Allison is not the real deal.
