Written by a veterinarian, this blog provides general veterinary information for dogs, cats and exotic animals. It is divided into six categories including 'Ask the Vet', 'Poisonous Plants', 'Current Events', 'Wildlife' and 'You Make The Diagnosis' where visitors may test their veterinary knowledge. There is even a section devoted to the rescued animals who became Dr. Nelson's pets called 'The Vet's Pets'.

- Dr. Nelson has cared for dogs, cats and exotic animals for over twenty years. She is a member of the AVMA, the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Human-Animal Bond Veterinarians.
