About Tempe
- Hi!—I used to live in Tempe back in 1990s and it wasn't too bad back then. As it got worse, I moved to Gilbert which was way better but now lately the crime rate here seems to be going up. Still, I would never go back to live in Tempe ever again. And Suzanne is right about AZ Mills mall— LOTS of thugs and gangs there but it is to be expected it being just down the street from (ugh!) South Phoenix. Tempe is way over-rated!

Old and crowded
- Some Tempe neighborhoods are pretty old and there aren't many wide open spaces here. When ASU is in session, it is pretty crowded and traffic can be bad, but some of the restaurants around ASU are the best, especially if you are vegetarian. I hate going to Arizona Mills mall. thugs and gangs hang out there.
